In 1932, Herbert Chapman, the manager of the Gunners at Arsenal Stadium in Highbury Hill, was one of the keenest campaigners for the Gillespie Road (local Tube) station's name to be changed to Ársenal. On 5th November of the same year, the name was officially changed, making it the only Tube station to be named specifically after a football club. The name of the station has remained unchanged even after the Gunners moved to the Emirates. Now that's to cheer for. Order your Arsenal F.C. Flag BE online today.
