Tottenham played their first matches on the public pitches of Tottenham Marshes. Then for a year, they moved to Northumberland Park and charged their first admission fee of 3d (£0.0125). When 14,000 fans turned up to watch the Spurs play Woolwich Arsenal in 1899, the club moved 100 yards down the road, to the Lane, taking with them the stand used at Northumberland Park which gave shelter to 2,500 fans. The Club's come a long way since then, but throughout has remained faithful to the game. Just as you've remained a faithful supporter. Time to get the Tottenham Hotspur F.C. Window Sign SQ and celebrate. What say?!
