EPL –English Premier League Gameweek 2 Highlights – Goalsquad.com

Okay so Manchester United is back in form. And by back in form we mean 3 games in a row with a goal difference of +10. POSITIVE TEN. Ferguson will be proud!

Whose next line? *A glance at the table below* will tell you it’s the biggies of course like Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool… and West Brom?? And HUDDERSFIELD TOWN?

The above 5 with 2 wins each have had blistering games especially the 4-0 Liverpool-Arsenal game which left Anfield in shouts and cries of happiness at week 2.

Anyway, back to week 3… and back to United’s glory run. With a 4-0 victory over Swansea and Lukaku’s contribution yet again United are green in wins!

On the other side of the spectrum is “title contenders” Arsenal who lost to… wait for it, Stoke City! Yeah, Arsene Wenger’s two-year contract is already in danger. Or maybe it’s too early in the day to tell. Or maybe fans mob mentality gets the better of them every single time. Yeah, that’s probably it.

Liverpool bagged 3 points with an arguably comfortable win over Crystal Palace with Mane placing the ball easily in the right corner throwing the keeper the other way. Kinda shows his class as a £90,000 a week player.

In the London DerbyChelsea happened to score all the 3 goals but the final scoreline had 1 goal to the name of the Spurs coming from the head of Batshuayi. Yeah, he was sorry by the looks of it but he was just doing his job!

Everton’s new signing, Wayne Rooney scored against his erstwhile arch rivals, Manchester City. But Sterling came to the rescue in the 82nd minute to volley the ball in at a staggering pace that Bravo failed to get his hands behind. 1-1 was the final score with one man down on each side.

Another remarkably solid game was Southampton vs West Ham.
The 11th, 38th, 44th, 73rd
all saw goals with a comeback that resulted in an equalizer.
The 93rd-minute penalty though took Southampton to the top to make for a nerve-racking finish.

Here’s what the score card looks like:

All in all, the game is on lads! The Premier league has gotten off to a frolicking start and Man-United seems to be playing with a purpose. There’s a saying that the team that stays on top at Christmas goes on to win the league.

While there’s still some time for X’mas to come, we think we already are beginning to see which direction the league is moving in. Our money’s on United. Well, at least so far it is.
